At your wedding, I can create and coordinate a ceremony focused on you then MC so you'll have the most special day possible!

Wedding MC

$1,000 +

Professional Event MC

  • Keep everything running smoothly and stay on time

  •  Coordinating with DJ/Musicians, caterers, stylists & venue

  •  Guide guests to ceremony area and help seat guests

  •  Housekeeping including venue's Health & Safety

  •  Assist photographer to assemble groups for photos

  •  Give directions about where to be and when

  •  Run any games or activities e.g. Lawn Games, Photo booth

  •  Welcome guests into the reception or dining area

  •  Announce and introduce the Bride & Groom & Wedding Party

  •  Announcing when dinner is served (and how e.g. buffet, grazing tables)

  •  Ensure everyone is ready for speeches, ahead of time

  •  Introduce each speaker in a humorous and friendly way

  •  Gather guests to ensure they can see the Cake Cutting

  •  Announce the Garter Removal and/or Bouquet Throwing

  •  Assemble everyone around the dance floor for the First Dance

Any other cultural traditions can be included such as a Blessing or Grace, Taonga gifting, Plates Smashing or Tivaevae ceremony etc., as requested.

On-the-day Event Manager 

On the day of your wedding,  I can make sure you don't worry about anything other than getting married and maybe getting up on the dance floor.

 

To ensure the finer details fall into place and to make sure that you, your friends and your family can confidently relax and enjoy the day, as a co-ordinator, I would be on site to oversee the wedding setup, organise vendors, welcome your guests and ensure the day runs smoothly. I can carry out the below tasks and more:

  • Pre wedding site visit, planning meeting with venue staff & other vendors

  • Development of customised run sheet, seating and floor plan 

  • Assist the MC, DJ/Musicians, venue and other vendors to oversee the final setup and running of the day

  • Help make the call on adjusting plans in the case of wet weather (or extremely windy weather)

  • Welcome, greet and direct your guests to the ceremony area

  • Ensure décor and seating is relocated between ceremony and reception sites

  • Be your 'go to' person to make sure any problems are resolved without you even knowing about them

  • Ensure the cake is refrigerated correctly, taken safely to the kitchen for cutting

  • Put gifts, vouchers and money in a secure place during the reception

  • Help with photo wall/photo booth to make sure your friends and family have fun capturing their pictures

  • Most importantly, I would be there to ensure you can sit back, relax and enjoy your romantic day
